I know it sounds gross — drinking pond scum. But this woodland party drink is absolutely delicious, and it’s just so fun for a woodland theme get-together.
Alcoholic or non-alcoholic?
This recipe works either way. We served it without alcohol for those who wanted a cocktail, and we spiked it with vodka for those who wanted a woodland buzz.

My favorite garnishes were nasturtium leaves. They look like lily pads and are edible, so they’re so perfect for pond scum punch!
I also used pineapple mint and stuck slices of apple and pineapple to cocktail skewers for an elegant presentation.

Ingredients
1 quart green lime sherbet, slightly thawed
2 cans of frozen lemonade, slightly thawed
1 liter of lemon-lime soda (like Sprite), chilled
1 cup vodka (for spiked version — otherwise leave out)2 cans of frozen lemonade, slightly thawed

Directions
- Mix sherbet and frozen lemonade in a large pitcher or punch bowl. Add lemon-lime soda. Add alcohol, if using.
